Microsoft Active Directory 

Active Directory (AD) is a directory service implemented by Microsoft for Windows domain network. An AD domain controller authenticates and authorizes all users and computers in a Windows domain type network—assigning and enforcing security policies for all computers and installing or updating software. EMC ApplicationXtender authentication can be integrated with AD authentication. Group Policy is a feature of the Microsoft Windows NT family of operating systems that control the working environment of user accounts and computer accounts. Group Policy provides the centralized management and configuration of operating systems, applications, and users' settings in an Active Directory environment. EMC ApplicationXtender utilizes Group Policy for user and group security.

 

Microsoft Expression Web 

Microsoft Expression Web is an HTML editor and general web design software product. Expression Web can design and develop web pages using XML, CSS 2.1, ASP.NET or ASP.NET AJAX, XHTML, XSLT, PHP and JavaScript. Expression Web 4 requires .NET Framework 4.0 and Silverlight 4.0 to install and run.

 

Microsoft Office 

Microsoft Office is an office suite of desktop applications, servers and services for the Microsoft Windows and OS X operating systems. It is bundled as a set of applications that include Access, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint and Word.

 

Adobe CS6 

Adobe Photoshop is considered one of the leaders in photo editing software. The software allows users to manipulate, crop, resize, and correct color on digital photos. The software is particularly popular amongst professional photographers and graphic designers.

 

Adobe Illustrator is the industry-standard vector graphics app that lets you create logos, icons, drawings, typography, and complex illustrations for any medium. Raster-based graphics such as a photograph are groups of pixels aligned on a grid to form an image and have a fixed resolution.

 

Webmaster Technologies 

A webmaster is a person responsible for maintaining one or many websites. The duties of the webmaster may include ensuring that the web servers, hardware and software are operating correctly, designing the website, generating and revising web pages, A/B testing, replying to user comments, and examining traffic through the site. Webmasters may be generalists with HTML expertise who manage most or all aspects of Web operations. They may also be required to know how to configure web servers such as Apache HTTP Server (Apache) or Internet Information Services (IIS) and be a server administrator. Core responsibilities of the webmaster may include the regulation and management of access rights of different users of a website, the appearance and setting up website navigation. Content placement can be part of a webmaster's numerous duties, though content creation may not be.

EMC Documentum Platform is a critical enterprise content management access and control all of an organization's information assets. The Documentum platform offers an enterprise content management system with the essential capabilities to control all of an organization's information content.

 

EMC ApplicationXtender 

EMC ApplicationXtender (AX) is an instant document management solution that minimizes the costs and risks of paper while increasing productivity by streamlining the capture and management of documents. ApplicationXtender scans, stores, retrieves, and preserves information, while providing role-based access from either a desktop interface or web browser. AX delivers information security (leverage robust information controls such as watermarking, rights expiration, and guest access), protection beyond the firewall (secure sensitive information even after it exits the repository or passes beyond the organizational firewall), access control (specify with document field-level precision which users or groups of users are able to access information), user-driven controls (empower end users with dynamic information controls to revoke or alter access permissions to sensitive information) and  version control (ensure only the current version of a document is accessible to users).

 

Kofax Express 

Kofax Express batch-oriented document scan application capable of high-speed scanning with real-time image display, indexing, and bar code detection. Kofax patented VRS technology is built into the application to ensure optimal image quality, reduce errors and exceptions, and improve system effectiveness. Kofax Express can export captured images and data to a wide variety of backend systems including EMC ApplicationXtender, Microsoft SharePoint and Kofax Capture.
